WBNB is proud to offer an online platform exclusively for Indigenous women entrepreneurs in New Brunswick, providing a space to promote their businesses, connect with new audiences, and grow their visibility both locally and beyond.

The Nujintuisga’tijig E'pijig platform was originally created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many Indigenous women entrepreneurs relied on in-person markets, powwows, and community events to sell their products and promote their services. When those gatherings were cancelled, they lost vital opportunities for income, connection, and growth. This platform was developed to fill that gap, offering a space where their businesses could remain visible and accessible during a time of isolation.

While it began as a crafting platform, it has since evolved into something much more: a space for all Indigenous women entrepreneurs. We recognize that not every Indigenous woman creates traditional crafts, and we are in the business of eliminating barriers, not creating them. This inclusive evolution reflects the diverse talents, goals, and businesses Indigenous women are building across our province.

Today, Nujintuisga’tijig E'pijig continues to grow as a long-term tool for empowerment, economic development, and cultural visibility.

Many Indigenous women continue to face barriers to accessing traditional business spaces, markets, and promotional opportunities. This platform helps bridge that gap by offering a dedicated space where their products and services can be showcased to a wider audience across New Brunswick, Canada, and around the world.
